Hiding Something

I have been in a situation where I was keeping something a secret from someone. My friend's birthday was coming up and I decided I would throw her a surprise party because I knew she wasn't having one this year. So I told all her friends about it and so almost everyone knew but her and so we all were talking in secret. She told me after the party was over that she thought it was something worse because we didn't include her. Good thing we didn't all get in a fight before the party because that would have been sad.

When I was keeping the secret from her I tried so hard not to act any different. She never suspected a party because we planned it for about a week after her real birthday but I think that she suspected something. She did act a little different but it was probably because she felt left out, but for the most part I don't think she noticed much.

best/worst Halloween costume

My best Halloween costume ever is the one for this year. This one is my best costume because my 3 friends and I are going to kinda be matching but with different colors and we are going to have neon bobbed wigs, eyelashes, nails, leggings, and gloves. We are also adding our own style to it. My friend and I are going to wear short shorts with suspenders and my other two friends are going to wear tutus and vests. We are going to be a band but we haven't come up with the name yet.

Teens Top Ten

The book I have read out of the top ten list is Breaking Dawn. I love that series it is really interesting, but i thought that this certain book in the series is inappropriate at the beginning and it should not have been picked for the teens top ten, although I think her other books in the series should have been picked.

Breaking Dawn is not my favorite book of the series, but I do love it. I love the way it ends and i love the plot, the only thing I don't like about it is that in the beginning it talked about some stuff it should not have talked about since it was meant for teens. I think that it was absolutely ridiculous that the author gets you all worked up for a fight and then it never happens.

Edgar Allen Poe

I have never read any of Edgar Allen Poe's stories. I would expect that they are all horror stories because he is a horror story writer and I have heard alot about him. I assume since he is a horror story writer that we will most likely be reading horror stories in class.

Personally I do not like horror stories or movies and I think that they are a waste of time, but I don't mind reading them for school. I'm sure that they will be interesting and hopefully I will enjoy reading them.

Something Beautiful

I love being outside in a thunderstorm because to me it is so beautiful to see everything wet and the smell of rain and the lightning its all just so beautiful. I love to feel to the wind and smell the rain and hear the thunder its just amazing. One day I went outside just before I knew it was going to rain and I layed down on the grass and I could feel the wind and then it sarted to sprinkle and I could hear the thunder and see the lightning and it was truly beautiful.

On the news you hear oh its going to be great weather today Sunny and warm, and sometimes its going to be horrible thunderstorm, but I think of it as the other way around I LOVE thunderstorms and they are so amazing to just watch from the inside or out.

One of the funniest/interesting family vacations I've ever had was when we went to Texas to meet/see some family on my dads side and "tour" where he grew up. This was about 3 years ago all of my immediate family went except for one sister who was in Africa. On the way we had a blast, except it took FOREVER to get there!

When we got there the first thing we did was go to my great grandma's house and some of my 2nd cousins and great aunt/uncles were there. When we met our 2nd cousins we thought they were okay but they ended up kinda on the weird side... After chatting for a while we had dinner and my great grandma was so entertaining because she had a 10 min memory and she kept cracking jokes.

After spending a day with them we went to go see my mom's brother Steve and his wife and 2 kids and they took us to cici's pizza. The next day we went to six flags with everyone and it was lots of fun! Also a couple days later we went to my dad's old house where he grew up and we explored this forest type place and it was really pretty.

Stories as a child

When I was little my parents did read to me. They just read the usual little kid books, and when I got a little older they read stuff like Harry Potter and Junie B. Jones. I don't remember ever being read nursery rhymes but I'm sure they read them to me. I remember loving the fairy tales. My favorite book of all time when I was little was Bears in the Night. (the berenstain bears)

I think that it is really important that parents read to their kids because most of the good readers I've talked to said that their parents read to them when they were little. My parents read to me and I was reading harry potter in 2nd grade and kids now days are reading little 10 words a page books in 4th grade.

favorite book

My favorite book I've ever read was the Harry Potter series. I mostly loved the 5th, 6th, and 7th because it got alot more suspenseful. The plot was that this kid named Harry Potter went to a school called Hogwarts. After years of living with his horrible aunt and uncle because his parents got killed when he was little.

I loved these books mostly because of the characters in it. Also I loved it because it always kept you wondering on what was going to happen next. The first three were really good but I love the last three books because the ministry was falling and Hogwarts was being invaded and it made it really interesting to see how they dealt with that and kept on going.

superpower

If I could have any superpower I would want to be able to teleport. Instead of cars, trains, buses and airplanes I could just snap my fingers and appear anywhere in the world. I Would love to travel the world and go lots of places like Greece, Egypt, Germany, Australia, France, Hawaii, etc...

Also you have to pay lots of money to travel but if i could just snap my fingers and get there I wouldn't have to pay anything. I would use it for fun to see the world but I could get places a lot faster so I could help if it was needed. It wouldn't really be good or evil it would just be fun to go places.

Family Traditions

My family has many traditions, my favorite is our Christmas tradition. Every Christmas Eve my family and I go to Salem Pond to look at the lights. After we come home we open one of our presents which is always pajamas and we drink hot chocolate.

On Christmas eve night we get in our new pajamas and all the kids sleep in the same room. On that night we always watch While you were Sleeping because we all love that movie and it has to do with Christmas. Sometimes we will read Archy comics or just talk.

On Christmas day we wake up (usually around 5:00-7:00 am) and there are always traps that "Santa" set out. After we avoid those traps we go downstairs. The first thing we do is look through our stockings and the we take turns opening presents. In our stockings we always get little cereal boxes and we eat that for breakfast.
